Yeah, saw that in the settings. Now switched off. Very naughty of them to do that with the default settings leaving it open.
Plus it is fairly well hidden away in the setting - you have to go hunting. I left it partially on so that one machine in my network can distribute to others, but I am not going to use my slow connection to P2P continually on my always on media pc.

Two sets of good news here. Got home from work to find my techno-not-savvy-at-all Pa had managed to upgrade his video editing laptop - he'd bought an ex-lease Lenovo Thinkpad because it had a Firewire port for his old video camera. Also, unlike Windows 8, 10 installed decent graphics drivers on my old laptop which I gave the girls, so Minecraft works without fettling!
My W7 laptop just upgraded painlessly - It would have done it sooner I think - I realised unknown to me it had been trying to download the update but the power setting were shutting the computer down before the update had fully loaded - first impressions -not impressed - too much like Windows 7 - which I have never disliked - was expecting it to be more like Windows 8.1 - which I do like - never had W8 to dislike it (what was it that people disliked about W8? - seems that I can set W10 up in tablet mode which may be the answer - definitely will not upgrade my W8.1 machines until im sure

you don't happen to know how I can edit/get rid of the naming/grouping in 10 - 8.1 allows you to get rid of the names - not a big deal on my PC big screen but takes up space on the laptops screen

If you hover your mouse over the naming of the group, 2 bars will show up on the right of it. Click the 2 bars, and it will allow you to edit, or just delete the naming all together.
that was my first try - name goes away but not the bar - also was trying to adjust the width of the group - trivial - I can live with it as is

You an make it wider, by just sticking a tile on the edge iirc
If you're trying to get rid of the spacing from the bar, then you can just stick them all in the same group. And order them how you like

I've just found out that my windows version is corrupt the white icon on the left nothing works on it, thank you MS if I don't get a patch back to windows 7 for me

After much searching and doing all the fixes I have finely got windows 10 working as it should be

right click on the screen and select either 'display settings' or 'personalize'... if that's not working, you might have to hunt down a fix as I had to do, shortly before i reverted back to 7
