Ever since my leg issues, I've really struggled on cold days to get my thigh muscles warmed up and as a result find the first few miles quite uncomfortable. I find myself pushing quite hard to warm up, which limits my ability to do longer rides at a lower pace.
I normally wear roubaix longs at this time of year, and was thinking of either leg warmers over the top, or some windproof tights (like the Dub Vaeon Zero).

Anyone got any recommendations, or other options?
Thanks

I have some gore ones with wind stopper. They are awful, they don't fit, they are uncomfortable and they rustle! Avoid!

I have a pair of Gore windstopper tights and a pair of Aldi's winter tights bought for half price recently (£7). Both do the job but I prefer the Aldi's tights due to the fact they don't feel as restrictive as the Gore pair. Though when it's really minus temperatures that may be when the difference will show.

I have Giant tights and wear shorts over the top and with the temps last year a -4 deg C here in China they kept the legs warm. However if it was raining and they got wet it could be not so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
