Winter tyre choice

Any recommendations for a good grippy winter tyre, on a Boardman Comp hybrid type bike?

I am riding a CX bike and using some 32 mm grass type of tire. (I have an american keyboard and underlines red when I write tyre, annoys me) as long as there is no ice out there I should be fine here in Belfast..

I would say what conditions are you going to ride on matters a lot before your pick yoour next set of tyres..(there is again red underline)

Not just winter but what about autumn? The leaves are starting to fall and wet leaves on roads maybe needs more grip than 25mm slick tyres?

Get your tyre on a pile if wet leaves and it doesn't matter about the width, they'll still slide.
