Wirral cycling.....a couple of questions

Yes, may be an idea for a future run, I was just too lazy to look at the route through from bidston and I fancied staying on the coast today.

Glad you enjoyed the route. Also a good run to go from West Kirby along Wirral Way to Parkgate or Hooton if you haven't tried that yet. Flat all the way and some great views across the River Dee. The route starts just over the road from West Kirby concourse (opposite windows of swimming pool).

Or you can shorten the route and park (free) at Thurstaston Wirral Country Park car park and head south to Parkgate (well worth an ice cream / detour) and beyond...

Only reason to go through parkgate is to stop at Nicholls
