Wish I had cycled

Got back to my estate last night and nearly came off, rode into a lump of snow me and the bike wanted to go different ways! So cold today though, no snow over night but it started on the way in had to ditch my glasses couldn't see where I was going.

Commuting fine on a road bike with skinny tyres and fully clipped in. But there again, I've adjusted my commute so it is now only on major or very major roads.

Hope there is no snow falling when I'm going home, though.

Cycled in yesterday on a single speed, nice and steadily, no problem, and kept warm because of warm gloves, rubber over shoes and a good windproof jacket. Was thinking of using the hybrid whick has thicker tyres, but in the end the Plug was fine. Conditions slightly worse today in London as even some fairly major roads are becoming icy. I'm hoping they get the gritters out toady before I cycle home tonight!
