Well, tomorrow afternoon at 2.30 I'm finally removing myself from the gene pool. The snipper beckons  .

I've tried desperately to pass on my genes for the last-time this week to any takers but found none willing to take-up the offer  .
After tonight my posts will be sent from my bed in a nad-bloaty parecetamoled haze for a few days, LOL.

Wish me luck (and sympathy tomorrow... I'll get none at home)

Still, a couple of days with my feet-up can't be bad...

At least you've had your family without having to be pregnant or give birth!!!!

All the best with it, and hope the surgeon's wearing the right pair of glasses..... You won't be able to ride your bike for a few days though even if he is.

had mine done a few years ago now and i was very lucky to get away with very little pain.

i actually opted to "stay awake" because these things don't really bother me and the doctor said it would be quicker. what he didn't tell me was that i would have to wait till after all the yellow people who were "sleeping" through it so i had to hang around all day anyway.

the pair of balloons down the trousers afterwards its a good joke to play on the other half

good luck

Had mine done a few years back.

Absolutely no problems, local anaesthetic talked to the nurse throughout. Drove home afterwards and back at work the day after.

The 'pain' was a dull ache.

Some real wimps out there!

had mine done in march, no pain, and no problems at all (although I did play on it for a week or so ). Just waiting on the all-clear now.

Did it a couple of years ago. Minimize movement afterwards by staying in bed with some videos and you won't have any pain / problems.

All the best.

Welcome to the Jaffa club!

Had mine done with a local about 5 years ago and got the train home. Strangest part was making polite conversion with the doc and nurse during the procedure. "Lovely weather for this time of cock....oh sh1t, year, I meant year!"

Good Luck, I remember Dad insisted that he was fine for building work the day after. Walked like John Wayne for a couple of days.

(My turn soon and I will make sure I am being waited on hand on foot for at least a day! Just in case.)

my mate had it done a couple of years ago - got an infected gonad and it swelled to the size of an apple!! Think the surgeon wasn't following strict hygenic procedure - he did get a lot longer off work tho'!!

But I'm sure yours will be fine .....;)
