You can set it to high contrast mode too, which gives blue(?) and green(?) Just to complicate matters.

Totally agree, I had no idea of it's meaning. I just kept putting a different letter into my one blank space until it worked.

It did take me 5 but I'm not complaining. It's a perfectly good word. I'm surprised that some people seem to be getting themselves into a state of nervous excitement or agitation about it.

Edit: In answer to the OPs question of what made-up words I used ... I had MINTY on row 4 which is a bit slangy I suppose.

My line 3 was PITHY and then I could only think of one word using the consonants I had left

I'd used bitch and timid on third and fourth guesses and had already eliminated a lot of letters so was p!eased (and a little suprised) to get the answer on guess five.

I'd used witch, rather than bitch as it seemed to have a better chance of being the answer.
