Come for a ride through Stratford where they are doing all the road works along the main road, and go along during peak hours, there are signs advising that the lanes are narrow and to avoid overtaking cyclists, but you still get impatient people who don't know that a steering wheel can be used to move into the right hand lane to pass a cyclist.

Apart from that, all good

The roadwork argument with narrow streets could be used for any town or city - still doesn't make London dangerous

Do I mention the word dangerous?
Unpleasent, yes, especially during peak hours, hence my decision to re-route and only go through their twice in a day rather than four times in a day.
If I thought it was too dangerous I would not go through there at all.

Stratford/Bow seems to be an area where I have meet more ignorant motons than anywhere else I have cycled, but I still use those roads.
Once the cycle lane works are done then it will be much more pleasent, but at the moment they are a place that would put a lot of people off.
