Business as usual for me tomorrow as it has snowed today I will be leaving earlier to allow time for the traffic. Hope it clears by Tuesday as I have an interview before work.

Falls down on the safeguarding issue though. Schools are required to carry out certain checks and keep a single central record of them in the school - school A doesn't have access to school B's single central record and therefore can't ascertain if a teacher from school B has the relevant clearances to be allowed to work with children.

Cry havoc and let (not) slip the 4 x 4. I have to go to a meeting in Birmingham and will have to use my private car to get there. The road outside looks very icy but things should improve once I reach the larger roads.

I fell over, slipped, on the walk to work this morning. Fortunately the hedge adjoining the pavement "caught" me. Safest place to walk is clearly the carriageway... but for the cars.
