That film's waaay too long I remember my backside going numb at the cinema.Peter Jackson's King Kong. It's like 10 hours long and quite soulless.

Good rule in general, but much as I liked City on Fire, Reservoir Dogs is better.Any Hollywood remake of a non-USA film is pretty pointless, and just shows how Hollywood literally "lost the plot" a long time ago.
I never saw it, but why didn't they make it "The Kung Fu Kid"? Seems logical, with Jackie Chan and all.Hmm, I thought it was ok - particularly Jackie Chan.
The recent Dredd movie took a police action movie, and replaced the police with judges. There were no Judge Dredd elements in The Raid.Methinks Judge Dredd has the prior art claim, somehow.
The title and the minis and the gold... and that's it. I enjoyed it the first time round as a half decent heist movie, less so the 2nd time. Doubt I'll ever give it a 3rd viewing.Isn't the "re-make" a totally unrelated film using nothing more than the title.
I seem to remember it indeed being rather poor, what I saw of it anyway, but still not really a re-make
I've always wanted to remake Casablanca, but set in north Lancashire and slightly retitled as Casablancaster...
As I recall, some fool tried to remake Casablanca as a TV series (staring if memory serves David "Don't give up on us baby" Soul) That was truely awful

I bet he wasnt ashamed of the pay check, the movie was dire .The Day the Earth Stood Still.
Keanu Bloody Reeves..... Should be ashamed of himself
I might have put Godzilla forward, but the original (for all its significance) is completely unwatchable.
Which Godzilla remake though? The not actually as bad as many people reckon 1998 one, or the truly dire more recent one?
