Worst TV series ever?

From when i was a kid, the worst was definitely 'rent-a-ghost'. As I'm not a big TV watcher now I have very little time for anything on the telly, but I particularly dislike cheap 'fly on the wall' documentary series'. In terms of soaps, Hollyoaks and Emmerdale are the worst, as well as some really dreadful series where Martin Clunes plays a doctor in a remote island community somewhere.

Didn't Martin Clunes turn up on some remote Scottish Island once, totally starkers? Some movie about a stag night, IIRC. Not sure if the island in question was Isle Martin, though...

White Horses was sh1te, it was a major turn off on a Sunday morning. I used to prefer The Flashing Blade even though that was also dubbed and I recently watched some on youtube and it was sh1te also, but I enjoyed it as a kid. The other dubbed program I used to love as a kid was The Water Margin, then it was replaced with Monkey which even as a kid I thought was utter trash. I agree with Heidi also being rubbish, god knows whom used to watch that crap.

Whilst I disagree on the White Horses issue (the Theme tunes just fab), the Flashing blade was pure brilliance! The fact that it's been spoofed more than once is testament to it's fabness. Great openeing sequence followed by the worst over-dubbing of all time. Excellent.

I'm with you on 'Water margin' and 'Monkey' they both seemed to aquire cult status, but I never got why. Heidi was pretty pukey.
