Would someone please explain Synchronicity to Mrs V

(and I don't mean 'The Police' album)

I believe things happen for a reason i.e stronger than a coincidence... e.g... in recent weeks.....

I won £6 on Euro-millions just as Campo Viejo (orange label) my favourite wine is on offer from £10 to £6 in Tesco's...

I kept looking at Rayban Wayfarers as my current sunglasses are about K*******d and couldn't bring myself to push buy at £90.00 and I open My Wife's Avon book and a pair of Storm Wayfarers are on offer at £10.00

so as I said synchronicity and today.......

A 0% 24 month balance transfer offer comes through (we have virtually nowt on Credit cards) with a 1% fee...... just as Planet X launch a special edition Sram equipped pro carbon at £799.00

I'm just going to buy Mrs V the works of Carl Jung on Kindle and see if THAT convinces her it's meant to be....

Just a couple of additional points...... I ordered the Storm sunglasses obviously (after checking they were a bargain... They are internet prices are between £15 and £30) and...... Mrs V got the same offer (we have identical but separate credit cards) so she can also buy a carbon bike.....

Barclaycard... most will offer though if you ask but usually a 3% transfer fee this was a 1% fee so on an £800 bike it would of cost £808.00 or just £33.00 per month over the 24 months not that I've done the maths at all......... But I would just get what's wrong with your 18 month old Defy2..... and I don't think 'but this is carbon' would cut the mustard as a reason.....

Its the argument i have had to use against myself buying a new bike tbh, after my wheel upgrade i would need to be looking at £1500 + to make a discernible upgrade and do i really ride competitively enough that half a bag of sugar weight loss off the bike will make any difference to the enjoyment of the ride .

I was going to launch into a tirade against this nonsensical thinking, but as it has the result of supporting the N+1 paradigm I'll leave you to it ;)
