picked this up earlier in the week. Stripped down to frame for a clean. Forgot to take pictures before I stripped it so will have to wait until I clean and refit everything.

It's an aerospace sport from somewhere between 74 and 76

@Tony Raynor that looks good , so am i right in thinking its got the unique bottom bracket arrangement ?

Nice and light with a steel fork as well

Correct @biggs682 its got the sealed bearing arrangement. Haven't looked at removing yet.
It is a bit of a bugger to remove the axle let alone the bearings. the axles rust to the bearing requiring a sound beating with a lump hammer. Make sure you have a bolt screwed right in to the axle to hit against. You will defiantly need to change the bearings after this abuse. Which is easy enough until you try and refit the axle and it knocks the opposite bearing out as you beat it in. I used the old bearing inner race clamped in the vice to hold the new bearing in place.

So if all is smooth just leave it alone.
