Some of you may remember I won the CC shirt that was offered free to a good home by @yello and that I made a donation to Macmillan as my Brother-in-law was then suffering from cancer.

Tonight I received some pretty awful news, his cancer has spread to his chest. They have said that there is nothing they can do for it, and that this will be his last Christmas. Beyond that there is no indication yet how long he will have before....

I'm pretty cut up about it and I'm sorry to vent it here, but understandably I cannot vent on facebook as I do not want to upset my Sister any more than she is already.

That's incredibly sad news and my heart goes out to you. I can understand your need to share how you feel - I hope that you don't feel too isolated.

Look after yourself.

Really sorry to hear this, cancer is an awful thing, I do know as I lost my dad at an early age to it, the support then was virtually none existant but today MacMillan are here and do a brilliant job, speak to them and they will give you all the help you need, and you do need it, just speaking to someone who knows and cares about what you are going through is a big help, and enjoy the time you have left.

I'm so sorry
MacMillian are fantastic, as are Marie Curie, who looked after my mum.
It's such a difficult time - I hope you can treasure the time you have left with your brother x

Very sad news.

I wish you, your brother in law and family all the very best.

I give to a cancer research charity using salary sacrifice and hope and pray that one day they will have cures for all types of this terrible disease.

Paul.
