Your Bike and a Sign

After much searching this doesn't seem to have come up, so here's one from the local county town:

The sign is directing bikes to a preferred route to the town centre. The Bike + Trailer icon is probably to suggest it's the less steep of the two options. I'm not entirely sure because to be honest, I always go where the cyclist in the background is riding...
