Jüdischer Friedhof Rexingen. Ding! Light bulb moment for me. I was thereabouts (not at the cemetery) in April 2003 going from Heidelberg to Stuttgart via the 'scenic route' in a Mercedes W123 series. I presume you do stretches of the Neckar valley cycle path?
I never did pay my parking fine I got near the Mühlen Schloss. I asked the Jugendhedgeberg owner why I got a ticket. He looked at it and he said 'I don't know why you got a ticket. Most Germans don't know why they get tickets either'.

It runs through my village, so it's my commuting route apart from anything else.
It's usually pretty obvious to German pedestrians.
