My bike in front of Baustein Paradies (Brick Paradise) an independent shop exclusively selling plastic block building systems similar to but not including Lego, and clearly doing a good trade.

Germans are pretty strange sometimes.

Town hall and fire station , Landeck. Right on the edge ofthe Black Forest, and built on the only bit of flat land that wasn't already full of castle.

The garage on the right is the fire station.
