I hadn't expected to see a Bristol double decker on Inishbofin. I'd love to know how it got here as it is much too big for the ferry

Could well be summat like a salmon watchtower - used to watch out for when the salmon or herring where doing their inshore thang

Maybe the same thing happened to them as to my dad in the early 80's: When he drove the new car into the garage all was fine, when he came to drive out again, it was too tall for the door: He had to let the tyres down and push it out again.
