In a currently dry Spillway where the Elz meets the Rhine. According to the sign it's certain death to cross at any time, with exclamation marks and a skull and crossbones displayed prominently, but this is the route of the Rhine Cycleway (European route 15) and you can cross at your own risk. If you dare.

As you can see, I survived.

Today at Walcot Lane Ford, Pershore. I wanted to get a picture of the action, but for obvious reasons needed to be discreet:

The watercourse is the Bow Brook, which comes down from near Redditch and joins the Avon just downstream from this spot. So a large area's drainage passes this spot and it's not surprising the water level is still quite healthy. But there's no obvious reason for the folks getting into trouble today.
