There doesn't seem to be a thread for cargo bikes/work bikes, so I'll start one.

This is my now decidedly venerable Xtracycle, built from a Raleigh M-Trax (bought new in 1997) and an Xtracycle Free Radical kit, which was added in about 2008 and used ever since. This is my main "go-to" bike for most shopping and cargo carrying needs, as well as performing excellently as a child carrier and touring bike.

Here seen leaving work with something too bulky for a normal bike...

Nice idea for a thread - that looks capable!

While advancement through middle age increasingly incentivises a proper cargo bike, I continue to meander along my relatively tame utility journey; so far well-served by hanging more stuff off "normal" bikes which in itself has been a bit of a revelation.

The Fuji, which has now seen over 5k miles of commuting, shopping and general mincing in my ownership:

Beautiful Daughter was transported on a bike pretty much from day one, so we had figure a way to do this safely. Eventually I worked out a solution using a car seat and a 200kg rated climbing rope...

it worked pretty well, although I remember it being a bit of a faff tying the seat down, and I had to remember to thread the rope under the box so it didn't clamp the steering rod...

We even had in flight entertainment...

Not sure you'd get away with that in the UK, HS wallah's would have you reported for child endangerment as its not isofix or have 2 tons of safety car around it. Brilliant idea, local women used to transport her sprogs in a wooden box on her e-powered babboe cargo bike, they used to be on harnesses to stop them climbing out.
