Our snow drops are just starting to flower in our front garden but others locally have been out for at least a week.

Well this is only my second one and when he around the Siskin he looks huge, even the blackbirds seem wary. Very pleased to have him around.

my wife had one of those once in a lifetime wildlife moments in the garden last night - in the failing light she spotted a Tawny owl in the tree, and while she was watching it another owl arrive and mated with it.

I've heard of car parks where you can see something in the same vein.

In fact, the local rag published a top 10 lust list of such locations!

Frogs everywhere, just counted 95 in the pond, and quite a few heading to the pond, this poor female has already got a male attached to her, and shes no where near the pond yet

I think he just wanted to be higher up, you know, to lookout for danger.
It's good when they try to keep the ladies safe 👍

Saw my first kingfisher in a few years last evening. By which I mean I spotted a small fast-moving bright blue dot moving a bit faster than me, above the drainage ditch next to the farm-track I was on.
They always look at least blackbird-sized in photos!

must be Spring, our Daughter saw some bears outside her classroom in Connecticut today. the Momma bear is behind that bldg to the right

First chiffchaff heard today and saw my first bat of the year. Our pipistrelles are awake!

Noticed that the shredded paper inside the hog house had been disturbed yesterday I left the trail camera positioned by it's entrance and sure enough we have pictures of a hog emerging
