A grove of young sequoia in the woods above Long Ashton, Bristol. About 150 years old, mere infants compared to their Californian cousins. Fabulous.

Any idea what's been digging on my, er, 'lawn'?
About 28mm in diameter I reckon, and about 75mm deep before it goes off horizontally to the right.
Rat? Vole? Mole? Snake?
Anyone hazard a guess?

I'll get some batteries for my wildlife camera and see if I can get a picture tonight.
