Sat in the canteen, looking over Alconbury, an airbase being heavily turned over to commercial and housing development. Two crows were mobbing a kestrel. I watched for 5 minutes while they lazily followed and jabbed at it which it made no particular attempt to get away, just lazily tried to ignore them it seemed.
It then landed on a light stack, the two crows landed maybe foot away from it....all suddenly seemingly disinterested in each other. They perched there for 5 minutes...then off, crows one way, kestrel the other. Handbags at 5 paces it seemed :boxing::biggrin:

Monday night was an owl gliding out from a tree as I passed on the way home from work, this afternoon was a Muntjak deer darting out from a field of corn that was being harvested.
