XOXO
Saw a solitary seal at St. Mary's Lighthouse today. Quite unusual as you usually see a whole rookery, but this fella was flying solo. I'm no expert but it did look to be in some discomfort.

There are usually wardens around so hopefully someone will be alerted if there is a problem.

Well I never, didn't know the collective noun for seals could be a "rookery", how bizarre.

There are a lot of collectives for seals.

Rookery is my personal favourite, but "bob" is a close second.

I saw a Peregrine Falcon flying low between the houses when I was at my brother's yesterday . It was nice to see that they are still around .
They always seem to pop up unexpectedly!
