I think a weasel came back. this was lightning quick
astonishingly terrible video frames. need to apply more resources
also seen was a rodent, rat or mouse. which "walks" not hops. this video frame is equally awful

Sat consuming a slice of toast and a second cuppa and swmbo says sparrow hawk and sure enough perched on the shed roof but not clear enough for a picture

no sign of the weasel last night, but a mouse is back, or it's the one that didn't fall for the traps, previously. seems to like the a/c unit even tho the entrance has been blocked w/ steel wool, which I spray w/ peppermint oil ... it is active in this area in the early evening & early morning. wonder where it spends the night!?!?

2 of the mice are now gone, that's 8 for us so far, including inside & out. a 3rd was captured on camera. more traps tonight. I do not like this dirty work. however, a neighbor 2 doors down in our condo bldg (6 units pr bldg), this morning told me they are catching 1 per day in their unit. they were releasing them but now they are killing them. don't know if they are counting
the diff. in size between a rat & a mouse is pretty obvious. (neither was caught during the making of these photos)
had a surprise visitor, a new cat, long hair & scruffy, investigating the scene, about 2:30am
took Rosie out for nite patrol

no luck catching the rat w/ the rat trap. a mouse feasted there tho, before getting caught in a mouse trap
we have a regular visitor, an orange cat. comes by a cpl times a week. too bad it doesn't linger to hunt rodents
