base layer two club tops and a jacket it must be winter ..
rode to darlo to meet club route was to thirsk via the lanes to pick up the new road that runs along side the A1M.
they have done wonders with it

greggs cafe ride back was not good head wind all the way and at streetlam rain then hail got back to darlo and called in the club house 
the hole in the wall legs were like lead by now 68 miles phoned g/f she came and picked me up 
... still beats sitting in the house 
The dreaded Winnats Pass grit bin! One of my goals for this year is to get up Winnats - let's see if we can both do it! Sounds like a great ride though, I love it up there
other than a blown tube he didn't report damage to the tyre in the cafe. After though he got another p'ture and the replacement tube blew up and there was certainly damage then the tyre bead had become separated from the side wall. After a long stop thankfully he got going again only for somebody else to p'ture (it was one of those days 
) and we ended up with circa 65miles with a lot of fast sections in between stops. The weather was nice if you were sheltered but chilly and windy when not but thankfully every stop was in a sheltered spot and I think everybody really enjoyed it.
