Show off - how far did you ride?

Not long, about 15 miles or so, didn't have time for ought else. And it was up hill all the way. <--- me is good.

17.8 miles like usual - my legs really hurt at the end though and my knee felt really tight so I only got an average of 16.6mph - not a happy bunny.

I'd be quite happy with 16.6mph on a dark and windy night.

I am reasonable happy with it - it is just that i know i can average about 17.5 on that ride normally.

I agree with Joe on this, it isn't the bike, it's the rider.
Currently riding a Careera (halfrauds) bike, its a town hybrid thing, not a proper road bike and no drop bars, but it's ok. Getting a decent road bike soon though.
This is my first ride for like a month now, been off the bike because of college and generally having other things that needed to be done.

20 mph on the first ride back. Not bad.

I was not implying that it is the bike and not the rider, I was just trying to make conversation, and so just asking out of interest. You are certainly faster than me, and I respect you for that.

Was a good ride, but I think I was just glad to be back. I won't average that for a while now.

29miles off-road this morning. Took it nice and easy - I would say to enjoy the view but I was in the mist!

40.97miles done yesterday in 2:15:15 so averaged 18.18mph(on the fixed)
Today i did 29.08mile in 1:33:16 so averaged 18.71mph(on the fixed)
Lots of spinning. Today i had a young kid chav(Young Un's mate?) try and scare me, i just laughed at him. Then when i did a big fixed skid(childish, terrible, should never be done) i had a group of chavs(Young Uns mates?) say, "oh you shouldnt skid on those bikes." That was while i was trackstanding waiting for the cars to pass so i can joing that road
