50 miles today, a lovely ride around the Hampshire lanes.
It good to get back out again - finally got rid of the cold.

A well deserved warm down from yesterday then CP ?

No ride for me - gardening, then cut the excess steerer off the fixed (god aren't ahead's loads more easy to adjust than threaded...)...cooked dinner, then in garden on laptop, watching the Giro....with some vino......

An old friend of mine is preparing for a marathon and wanted to do some cross-training so I took him out along the Bramley to Shoreham cycle path. We did about 25km, made the turn and came back. It was probably about right for him because when we got back to Guildford he was tired, but not utterly exhausted. I had an impromptu race with some guy which was rather fun.

After my friend went home I had enough time, energy and liquid left to take advantage of the great weather and ride some local trails for a couple of hours.

Blinder of a weekend.

MTB ride on Friday night wasn't so good. Got about 7 miles in and me legs just gave shrug with a "you're on ya own pal"... dragged myself back to the car and home.

However Saturday and nice tootle up and down the Exe for 30 miles and likewise today for a 40 miler.

Today definately the best as it was one of those days when the ol' legs just want to keep spinning along.

Should probably have remembered the sun cream on me arms aswell as face / neck though. With the white bits from gloves and sleeves I now resemble a battenburg

NO real riding for me today, although I did decide that I was going to learn to use my rollers, which I have done successfully. Can do one-handed no problem, and can just hold no handed for 2 seconds - and thats only with 10mins practise:biggrin:

80 miles today.
Cycled to Clapham Common to meet Sittingduck from this parish and my good friend Burak, then on to Richmond Park where we met up with Redjedi also of this parish. 2 loops of the park, clockwise and Anti Clockwise. Half time stop for ice cream and iced tea. Then on to Putney, followed the river all the way to London Bridge, then home via Rotherhithe, Catford and Bromley.. Oh yes TIP.. Remember to also apply sun lotion to knees....

68 miles in a figure of eight circuit centred on Wetherby and taking in York Tadcaster and Selby. Great weather marred by by a strongish headwind for half the distance.

Boosted my tan a tad.
