Solidly back on ‘commute’ duties after vacation (‘Commute’ said loosely; as I actively look forward to the ride in and back these days). *Infact taking the car feels positively dirty. **We’ll see how deep into Winter that feeling continues 😉

Cloudy but sticky both ways. The weather app I have attached to Strava; said it was 18c as I left the house at 5am 😳

And dry though ! 👌

Got out today for the first time in a while and headed down to Cambridge to pick up some bits and pieces.

Out to Little Downham under the by-pass and then down to Wilburton (via Coveney) and Twenty p road in to the City via Cottenham and Histon, bit of a natter at the old workplace and picked up some bits and then on to Bicycle Ambulance to have another natter and get some more stuff.

Decided not to nap a coffee and bite to eat next door at the new Kerb Collective premises and set off again out via Horningsea around a road closure in Waterbeach and back up to Cottenham but this time up to Westwick and the busway, cruised up to Willingham and the long road out to Earith.

Then on the crumbling road to Haddenham and up to to cross the busy main road at Witcham Toll, through the village itself to Coveney again and a loop through Pymoor back to Little Downham and home to finish on 108k.

Pleased with the ride to keep it in endurance mode and a steady cadence.
