We did ! And was a joy to be out. My wife’s is an absolute Diamond. It’s just her pace is: errrr……similar to being stationary 🤣🤣

Puzzle game procrastinator!
I am visiting my family in Coventry for a couple of days. My older sister's health is not good so she can't walk far and we have to hang on to her when she is doing even that. Still, it is nice to get out when we can.
It was a lovely afternoon here so I suggested that we all walk my niece's dogs in Naul's Mill park. Sis could walk as far as she could manage and I would push her in her wheelchair after that.
I often visited the park as a child. The pool then was used by children sailing their toy boats. As years passed the water became full of algae and the pool was eventually drained. It has now been refilled and 'wilded'. I like it, and so do the swans which have now made it their home.
It was a short walk but it is nice to find a place like that in an area badly in need of greenery!

I'll be back near there in a couple of weeks! My daughter & I are taking our tents and plan on a few walks (and rides, too) around Mam Tor and Curbar & Froggatt Edges.
It is a very lovely spot - we have a nice loop around there from Arnside prom'. A pleasant contrast between the beach and countryside.
Very short mooch near to home - too hot for a long one.
Just the 2.84 miles today.
