Some of my skating friends wanted me not to ride home in the summer when it was tipping down. LOL, sweet, but really...

I simply feel smug when I am the only person in work on time today, as the rest come in wet and bedraggled from the walk from the car park and cursing the traffic.

Even more smug this evening when I pointed out that as I was the first one in I was also going to be the first one out!

Yup - got 43/44's to fit either my 43 or 44 shoes - fit the MTB 44's fine (small fitting Lake shoe) - take Spesh 43's.

Oh right thanks I have spec taho shoes size 43 so should be ok.

I use some DHB ones I got cheap from wiggle ages ago at the moment but I may get some of these for when I bust those as they were only cheap so I will probably break them at some point

Rode both ways yesterday - not one of my more enjoyable commuting days, I have to say.

I did like the way the weather chose to open the heavens properly just as I was thinking to myself "It's not raining that hard, I suppose..."

That was in the morning for me, togged up seeing weather, got out, stopped...FFS...... a couple of miles on, it opened...'oh yes, great....'

Hate getting too much kit on........ worked a treat in the morning, then wore no waterproofs home other than the overshoes.... feet dry, roads soaked....no rain.

You'll be fine with Taho's - these overshoes fit my Lake (full on MTB) shoes, and they are a neat fit - they will easily fit my Spesh Road shoes (43's) - PS quite stretchy.........

And the answer is, "Why would I drive when I have a perfectly good bike?"

And yet it still doesn't sink in. Yesterday I received many pitying comments and glances as it neared 4pm and the rain showed no sign of abating. I've got a car, and I've paid VED for it, and insurance, and enough money for the petrol, and I've even got a driving licence. I'm pretty sure that means I'm allowed drive to work if I so wished. Why, oh why, oh why can't people understand that if it was actually more fun being a car potato then I would actually be driving to work. Well? Eh? Why?
