I was looking at some sports things on youtube and, curious, I clicked on a link.... it came up with this, which is all rather cute, but I do wonder about the pressure he'll have from his parents:

I love the bored kid in the background. His Brother??

I was also going to post something else, but I think that is enough.

We have a train spotter ^^^^^^^^^^^^

Actually, I'm not, I don't take numbers. Technical difference I wish people would understand.

Tell me, it always interests me what people definition is. Most people say,

'Oh well you go out to see a train, hence you are a spotter'

But, ummm, does that not apply to EVERYONE who has ever waited for a train at a station?? You wait to see it, hence... can you see where I'm going with this??

Anyway, I was really looking for something I saw years ago where it was a spoof of the sort of sped up film above, going from somewhere like Ramsgate to London, culminating in a meet up with a beautiful woman, all to the tune of 'Running' by Earth Wind And Fire.... and it all turned out to be a dream by a train driver.

Just take it as a blessing that I can't seem to find it ^_^

I'm with you there. MDB.
Would I collect train numbers? Never in a million years.
Was I delighted when I realised that our trains to and from Kyoto were on two different models of Shinkasen train? (300 and N700 IIRC). Hell, yes!!
There's a difference between train fans (which I am) and trainspotters (which I'm not).
