Muggings are so old hat these days. Look at someone the wrong way, a Zombie knife stuck in your guts!!
135 murders from knives in London this year alone

Puts the pressure on @bridgy and @berty bassett
I think riding these, and putting the kicks in to stay with groups of other riders, will see you getting a fitness boost
.I was doing ok until it went vertical up to the bridge. I lost about 90 places and the hovered around 710-730 iirc. The legs were shot coming back out of the jungle and I was having trouble generating 160-170w. I'd bump up to 210-220 up the rises but I could not maintain any power on the flats and little descents. Still I was only going for a completion not a fast time, for me.
Looking forward to the rest of them with hopefully a few thousand more that I can wheel suck on.
That's better....managed to keep the B's end-up with a 39:59 on stage 1![]()

What you ideally need for that little section on the bridge is either a Feather or Aero PowerUp .... they are a godsend if availableI was doing ok until it went vertical up to the bridge. Else the legs get a kicking. On that course too you don't get much rest from that bridge down until you're climbing again out of the jungle. A real leg sapper!I'd like to like this, because that is so true, but can't bring myself toWhat you ideally need for that little section on the bridge is either a Feather or Aero PowerUp .... they are a godsend if availableElse the legs get a kicking. No sign of @Breedon in the race, although he was warming up.
Goes to show how important a good start is on these mass-start races. Had a much faster start today than Wednesday so was able to get dragged along by a faster group.
Shattered now though. A good evening's rest and plenty of wine before hitting the rw tomorrow.

Well I've busted my you know what on my first event on Zwift.
Stage 1 of the ToW is complete. 73m58s and I am fecked. 702nd out of 799 the last time I checked. Hey not the strongest person in the event this time.
Had a hard week this week, what with week 1 of my Gran Fondo workout plan and the ToW starting. Day off tomorrow at least and then see how Sunday goes. Maybe a short jaunt ITRW, if no rain or a ride on BRVR to keep the legs loose.
Off for a curry and a beer![]()
