You need to start your sprint at the 300 metres marker the actual sprint starts at 200 metres so you need to hit the 200 meters marker at full sprint and hold it for long as possible
This, and try and be drafting other riders from the Arch onwards, so you get. A boost and so you are less tired by the time you hit the 300m. Much easier to do this on a fast group ride.

just back from first physio for neck and back , first thing she said was i have at least a grade 3 ac tear on shoulder - lucky me ! scan next week hopefully , she has already said it is an operation
thought it hurt - but i don't like to moan

I don’t know. You get off your deathbed and drag yourself to the physio and all they do is give you bad news. Still, it’s not as if it’s going to impact on you riding the NEO  Seriously, hope you get it sorted soon Lee. We don’t want it interfering with our little French trip.

I've given you lightweights a target for the reverse Pretzel loop. I'd expect the time you gain going up should be enough to cancel my flat and downhill speed. Solo rides please:tongue:

That's a pretty good time for a big fella:tongue: If you could lose a little of those cuddly bits your missus likes and not lose any power you could make up the advantage us more svelte riders have on the steeper bits:okay:

Article I read the other day (can't recall where, might have been Zwiftblog) said that with 2 riders and the same w/kg going up hill, the heavier rider will go up faster as they will be pushing more watts. If only I could push the same w/kg as you skinnies I'd be flying up those hills  Alas, I push the same watts but this needs to move a bigger mass of blubber :mrpig:

It isn't going to happen Bob, I've lost a bit of weight and hope to shave a few more kilos before spring. I've looked back and this time last year I had put a bit of weight on. I'm nearly 2 stone lighter now.

Since taking up cycling I've lost just short of 4 stone
