Roglic retires from TdF.

I hadnt realised he was 31yrs old- I thought he was much younger.
I wonder who else will leave to prep for Olympics , bet there’s a few who don’t start after the rest day.

Beginning to think Roglic may never win the TDF despite his amazing fitness and mental resilience to keep bouncing back from massive disappointments

With the Italy summer shutdown, the general work ethic and who cares attitude they should be able to get build times down to 300 ISH days 😂

They'll have frames but they won't be able to get the group sets to complete the build.

How can you be even be thinking of a new bike when your beautiful new fast bike isn't 2 months old? I noticed on Strava your average speed is constantly high.
Good lord, you put my back against the wall :blush:. Okay, of course not ^_^.

@Aleman
I rode your Blackpool waterfront with about 30 other riders today on Bkool. It was a featured ride and people kept joining it. Great job. Thanks.

Me climbing a mountain, are you kidding me!!? :laugh:

Yes, the sportive I signed up for, was upgraded to a category 3 race. That also meant we had to start together with those riding the longer distance (109 km). About 300 riders in the pen, and me at the back as I only got to the pen area 2 minutes before the start. :ohmy: :banghead:
The longer distance race was won by Michael Carbel, who finished his Pro career only last year (at the age of 25) when the NTT Pro Cycling team almost folded - and he didn’t get a new contract with them or any other team… He finished the race at around 42-43 kph average. :notworthy:

The weather was perfect (for me) at around 16-17 degrees, almost no wind and no sun. My average was 37.1 kph, which is also the fastest average speed for me ever in a real world race/sportive, despite being dropped and riding 15 km solo. :dance:

The guy at the red arrow is me “running” back to my bike after picking up my sunglasses from HID. As seen in the video, I didn’t make it before the front rolled off. :laugh: You see me rolling past the camera at 0:50 in the red/white jersey and the green Cannondale bike. :smile:
