Yes. He's the Hill Climb Champion I'm in 'GCN' land as they are based in Bath and I'm within about 90 mins cycling distance away.

Yeah he's a great climber, smashed most hill climbs in these here parts, there's a documentary on him, available on GCN+ if you're a subscriber...

It’s just an idea of course. But it could make the ordering and design process a lot more straight forward. And because they’re limited edition they will be relatively exclusive to us. The jersey would cost £85. I thought we could then get some team socks produced from another company to finish off the kit.

Anyone got any thoughts?

Depends, of those designs you've shown only the 11:22 print did anything for me, but I can get something similar from Lusso for less ... And £85 would get me a couple of Jerseys from Quirky Jerseys. ...

I’ve got a base layer, gilet and winter jersey. Only got them last week so only base layer worn. They are good quality but not Rapha quality.

I love the Legion kit but I can never find it in stock?!

nearly all my kit is Rapha - wears well, washes well and when I ripped rain coat they fixed it for free.

I'm going to make it easy and say I have no preference .. will go with majority

My thinking is that picking one of the rapha ones is ‘the path of least resistance’. None of them are available now. But if we register an interest we get an email when they’re available, which varies depending on the jersey but they’re all available within the next month give or take.

£85 is what it is. I know some people will balk at paying that, but then some people will have paid a lot more for a jersey. Add to that the cost of the personal names etc. Plus socks (?). I have the ‘pro team training jersey’ which is what this is. And I can vouch for its quality. I think the general consensus is that this time we want something a bit more quality?

The alternative is designing our own kit. The pros of this is in theory we get exactly want we want. The cons of this is how is it possible for 15+ people to all get exactly what they want. Another pro is that we might find a cheaper option than rapha. Another con is that the process of design and agreeing on a design could be painful….

For what it’s worth my vote would be for the dark blue one. Partly because it’s neutral so kind of a middle ground but I also I do think it’ll look good.

For example

‘WHORTY’ on the back
‘CC’ or something similar on the chest plate

Something like that…
