There was at least 7 c riders from the same team (i.e. everyone except me Steen and Nick and maybe 1 or 2 others) but we ended up with a front 5 with 3 CCers. Great attack @BurningLegs near the top, the other teams chase didn't really get going and I supertucked most of the way home which was handy as legs had gone.
Seems like the gaps were a bit all over the place, we caught D group early and gap to B was too large. Don't think my power numbers were all that great but pleased with the volcano climb

Great riding with you this evening @mjd1988 - I enjoyed attacking on the climb, and it was nice for the two of us to pull away. They did claw me back but one last punch and I beat them to a completely meaningless second place up the climb. 💪🏆
My concentration slipped as the B group with @<Tommy> and @bridgy caught me. I had to sprint on to the back of that group and paid the price at the finish.
Thought I was going to be sick and had a lay down in the garage. We have a motion camera in our garage, and wifey is used to me coming back ina couple of minutes after a motion alert triggered by me getting off the turbo. I didn’t come in so she checked the camera, saw me laying on the ground and came out with an ice pack to rescue me 🤣
I am now being told off for riding so hard the day after my covid jab 🙄😝

Well it’s not showing on my Strava so I’m afraid I’m just going to have to declare the whole race null and void I’m afraid lads… gutted…
That is indeed a terrible shame Tommy, and you're right of course 😕. If only there was another way to confirm the race results.....oh hang on, here you go mate - this must be a relief for you
