really struggling to get my classic trainer setting right, its ruddy killing me at the recommended resistance for the closest turbo to mine.A pace i would hold outside for a metric century leads to exhaustion after half ab hour and although i have no hrm yet i can check it by hand and it feels like im about to explode

my trainer isnt listed i did choose the closest branded one, although reading some posts on search others have said the recommended setting is to hard anyway,
today i will try the unbranded setting and see how my legs feel. i know i had 3 weeks off but i shouldnt go from a pace i used to do club rides chatting at to being at threshold for 30 mins at the same "speed"

Bit short notice but I plan to do the Crit City Race at 11.45 today if anyone fancies it. Just noticed Matt Rowe (Luke's Bro who does the Zwift Power Up Podcast is also racing in B.
I'll be on later this afternoon, cruising with the C pace partner as trying to get in 500 kms before end of the year. And to burn off all the chocolate I'm eating

Have you experimented with wheel/tyre size? The 'dumb' trainer I use for my 11yo has a 24x2 option which I select instead of the 24x1 which helps him a bit.

Feel absolutely knackered - just ordered three large pizzas

I did 5, 10 & 25 laps of Volcano, 100km, 100mi and 100 ride ons received in one activity  Didn't think I can last the distance, still kind of can't believe it.

Bloody hell that's some going is that! How did you find the distance? Arse sore now? Were you drafting for any of it?

I like miles ! I like my height in ft , I like a pint and I like mountains in feet
I am English and I do what I like !
unless it is easier to work out in mm then I use that
if all we can find to moan about is the option to use what we like then we haven't got much to moan about have we
that feels better ^_^
