Thats a decent speed alright. I’d be happy with a 20mph average on my club spin and that has some decent riders in it. In fact I think I managed a 20mph ride once in the last year and that was going ⚽ 🏀 🎾 out for an hour On a daily flat route. I must be getting old 😢
Yes for me 17.5-18mph comfortable, going flat out, solo, on a pan flat country fen road with a standard drop bike 21mph for 13 miles-actually it was on 40mm tyres.

You have chosen the drops option...if we see you irl we will be keeping a beady eye on your position:biggrin:
i ride generally arms flat resting on hoods which has been shown to be slightly better than drops

None of that should matter if @cyberknight is using a powermeter for his Zwift Input on a dumb trainer.

Mainly Zone 5 HR for 164W suggests either:
The powermeter is reading low
The HR monitor is reading high
You have low FTP / power (doesn't sound that way with your real world riding) or you weigh about 40kg

Zwift's agorithm is roughly right (albeit it assumes no stopping at junctions, no slowing down at corners and no wind) - so it can't really be that.
I wonder if your max HR is set correctly on Strava? That's a huge Relative Effort score on your screenshot, which is supposed to be based on HR zones - I only got two points higher when I did my 100km ride the other day on the same course and I averaged 20% higher on power.

One more (virtual ride) for the year fellas?

I’m going to get on the bike around 8:00 / 8:30 tomorrow if anyone fancies some early morning most likely slightly hungover banter.

Did my first ride for over a week yesterday, genuinely felt close to a heart attack at points.

Have had palpitations in the past but they've been quite noticeable over the last few days, likely due to excess booze. Almost relishing a dry Jan.

Same here. I’m going to do dry January as too. I took the recycling bin out last and it clunked and clinked all the way down the path.
