no settings for difficulty for smart trainer
That must be because its a dumb trainer. So all adjustments are mechanical, adjust as necessary

Anyone about for a spin around 4/4:30? I’d like a race but my legs have been in bits since a hike a couple of days ago so I’m just sticking to a pottle round some of the routes I haven’t ticked off.

The Silent Sea was a good shout @bobinski - I’ve been watching it this last couple of zwift sessions, and trying to spot which actors were also in Squid Game

ok chaps i have been trying to find the page for default resistance settings for dumb trainers but cant find it?
There aren’t any resistance settings in Zwift for a dumb trainer. You can select which trainer it is in the pairing screen but that’s only relevant when using zPower who CS you’re not because you have a power meter.

The power meter you have is considered accurate. I think it’s unlikely to be faulty 🤷‍♂️

May I offer my 2 pennies worth
I am no expert by any means as I am sure many here will remind me within nano seconds of reading this BUT
He goes - you say your mate is roughly 68kg and getting 23mph for 180 watts ( think I have read this right )
Something seems wrong there as well
I can only offer my stats outside , if I av 220 watts I will av around 20mph and weigh fair bit less could be a number of things I guess
But are you sure it’s miles and not km ( no offence meant ) , battery , calibration , or simply mullered ? Something don’t sound right as norry says
Hope you sort it though as must be frustrating a moment
Incidentally your mate would only be kicking out 2.6w/kg if miles for 23 mph

By the way 23km would be around 14.5 mph for 2.6wt/kg - I don’t know - does that sound more plausible 🤷‍♂️ Don’t know the route , elevation etc - hope someone can help

Wow that seems fast for power
Can’t do that around here !
Thats a decent speed alright. I’d be happy with a 20mph average on my club spin and that has some decent riders in it. In fact I think I managed a 20mph ride once in the last year and that was going ⚽️ 🏀 🎾 out for an hour On a daily flat route. I must be getting old 😢
