Am I correct in assuming that if I enter a really short race that will probably take about <10 minutes that it won't affect my ZP category (which I think is based on 20 minute power)?

I fancy a sprint race. There's one on Laguardia today just 4.6km, which looks like it might be fun.

I think it also won't change your recorded max 15 sec, 1 min and 5 min powers on ZP (assuming you beat your current ones). Not 100% sure though.

Tour of Watopia is starting soon, anyone waiting for that enthusiastically?.
Yeah, looking forward to that. Not sure if I'll race all the stages but will definitely try and complete them. Already signed up for the first one - doing it on the 11th.

I didn't realise you could still get those jerseys! I have one myself that I bought when I attended the Worlds. Prologue by any chance?
Prologue indeed. They still had quite a few, in different sizes, reduced to £56. I haven't attended the Worlds but not can pretend I did ;)

I'm a bit confused by the playoff rules this season, seems like only one team from each division 1 league gets into the playoffs which doesn't seem right.

#23 are raring to go, hoping next season we have a bit more luck with injuries. Although seems like half the CCCers will be Bs next season so may be a couple of teams!
It's because they've added so many more divisions. A few seasons ago there were only about 10, so top two made 20 teams max in the playoffs (and a few of those could not take part because of time differences). Now there's 16 divisions but 32 teams of 6 would be too unwieldly to have a single race.

Top two from the lower divisions still get promoted (and bottom two relegated) which is why CCC's position in this final race is so interesting. We have a good chance to be in Division C1 next year, but will we have enough riders still in C to be able to avoid coming straight back down!

Courses for Season 6 of ZRL have also been announced. Only six regular rounds this time, plus two marked as "Finale" rather than "Playoffs", so I don't know if that means anything specific.

Ah that's good, wasn't sure what the situation was for the lower divisions, thanks

This timetable somewhat clashes with the TdS as scheduled by @bridgy.

That plan showed 6 stages, done weekly, starting on 08/03 but it now looks like we'll only have 4 free Tuesdays before the next season of ZRL.

Yeah I noticed that the other day - less of a gap between ZRL seasons than I expected! If we go ahead with TDS, we'll have to either schedule a second race within the same week a couple of times, or cut it down to 4 weeks I guess...

Road to Ruins is a really interesting choice. Is the gravel bike with new gravel wheels faster than the MTB around the Jungle Circuit, or is that just on the Handful of Gravel route? If so, it would make the double-bike-swap a very good race strategy, which disadvantages people on Crapple TV a bit.

When I first saw the course list, for some reason I read it as just being the Jungle Circuit, so immediately thought it was MTB from the start with no changes required. But now I've double checked and you're right - it's the route where you start at the Watopia Pier, then go up the first bit of the Epic KOM to get to the Jungle (all on tarmac), do one dirt lap, then back to the start via mainly downhill and flat roads, so the bike swap is going to be the way to go.

But as you say, are the new gravel wheels better than the default MTB ones? Think we'll have to wait for ZwiftInsider to do their tests!

Well that was a fun 5 minute race. 1 lap of Laguardia. Got a silver for Ukraine as well  All cats started at the same time but from different pens. Managed to hold onto the fast group but had nothing left to sprint at the end. Nice bit of maxing. Just what I've been looking for. My first podium :bicycle:
