Crit city 8 lap. I came 6th from 40 starting. 8 of us chasing bronze.

I took a few places back at the finish sprint but run out of steam chasing the gold and silver winners from the cobble climb.

I might try a few B races, because Im finding to that most laps aren't too demanding. I dont expect to do so well, but hanging on a faster pack for most of the race should do me good
Nice one. Was just looking at that on ZP after I saw you'd finished on the companion app.

Looks like you beat 6 B-riders too. :okay:

What sort of laptop are people using for zwift?
As of today mine won't work because of old graphics card.

I feel the same way andy. I’m not in A cat, but I feel like B cat races aren’t taking me out of my comfort zone either. I know I won’t be at the front of the catergory above my designated one, so then I guess the puzzle is choosing races where you don’t get left in the wilderness on your own.

I jumped on for a 20 minute spin and saw the crit was starting in 2 mins so jumped on.

Such an intense workout.

I bought the cheapest ASUS with an FHD screen they had at Argos (£140 or £160? If I recall correctly), then went to CashConverters and picked up a random 24'' FHD tv for £20(?) just to have a larger screen. Seems to be doing the job so far.

That way you get both mediocre graphics and a horrible remote.

True! ATV is funny - the only time I have trouble with the remote is on the start up screen when I am selecting courses etc but usually on race nights I don't need to bother with all of that so use the ATV.

If training I will use my iPad and watch something on the big screen.

Graphics? Doesn't bother me. The smoothness of my virtual bottom is the thing that gives way for cheapness  TBH I've always used a 4th Gen ATV so have never seen the silky graphics of which you speak!!

Ive just bought an Asus i5 11th gen with intel Iris Xe graphics card. It was £500 quid.

Im using it primarily to setup a security system, but will try and use it for video editing from my drone. It plays back 4K Youtube now problems at all.

Far faster than my 2018 AMD A8 with Radion HD grahics HP laptop.
