Just done the RGV ITT. Target was sub 40', made it in a time of 39'33.0" so happy with that. Only the 3rd (I think) ITT I've done. Totally different experience to any other types of ride! @IrishAl @steverob

what’s the cut off date & time? I Suggest Saturday 5pm then the winner can hit the champagne in the evening.

Okay, I confess, my results are down to testing positive for cake, chocolate and the occassional glass of wine.

Urg. Went to go outside and found back wheel was flat. Took out the inner tube and the replacement inner tube has perished before I could even try it on.

Might take the opportunity to replace the stock tyre to a 25mm (currently on 23s), will probably move to gp5000s

It's a slippery slope to talking myself into a new wheelset 🤔

Very, very nice. Basically half a kilo lighter than my current wheelset.
Would be cheaper to bring one less bottle of water though

Or just eat fewer pies or stop drinking beer for a couple of weeks etc. (unless you're already optimised bodily)

Got some clubmates who fuss over the weight of my aero bars and cameras, all of whom could easily handle losing a few kilos. I tell them "I'm 5kg lighter than this time last year. How about you?" Usually shuts them up
