Parents Evening for my youngest tonight…
Knee pain is likely to be saddle position / height depending on where it is.Cheers. I am constantly experimenting with cleat position - even bought a tool that allows me to measure the exact location. I can make the foot pain go away but then I develop knee issues. If I sort out the knee, the foot pain comes back. Carrying on with trial and error but getting closer to just saying 'feck it' and doing the bike fit.
Get well soon, missed a chance to get her number and invite to dinner

If it helps, I was on the tron and it loses enough speed to go out of super-tuck in a few places on that descent as well!Well done everyone.
I’d be fibbing if I said it was a pleasure to ride that climb with you @mjd1988 but I was very pleased not to be doing it alone. I suspect neither of us would have climbed it as quick solo. Thanks for the companyWell, until you dropped me on the 300% bit up to the radio
I really didn’t enjoy the descent. I was on that lightweight Specialized - think it’s called Aethos? On the 6-7% sections I’d spin up to 60kph and get in the aero tuck then it would start to slow down in the aero tuck!! Pretty sure the trusty tron maintains 60kph on 6% and higher?!
When we got to the top of the radio tower and I saw you ease off I thought I’d catch you @mjd1988 but I think you put approx one minute into me on the descent, and I was pushing it pretty hard!!
That left me spent for the flat run in and I was worried that @Peter Salt might catch me but not quite, thankfully.
My aim was to beat you on the KoM as I knew that you would beat me on the descent. I got a PR on the descent by 32 seconds trying to chase you. What was frustrating was putting out slightly higher w/kg than you whilst watching you still pulling away. I went for a lightweight setup, probably would have been better with a more aero bike.Bloody hell that was tough. So glad I had a little lead over John. He whittled it down to catch me at the start of the tower. I knew uf I could stay within 30 secs, I could catch him on the descent.
Yeah I think the supertuck works much less efficiently outside of races - although I'd hoped the physics would be of a race for club meetups. I was constantly having to spin back up to 58kph and above in order to stay in it as soon as the descent got less steep than 6 degrees.Well done everyone.

I surprised myself a little holding you at 20 secs for most of the climb, knowing I would begin to tire. The tower was short enough and with a determined effort over the top and around the loop to pick up speed. I then employed full efforts into each mini bump to reel you in and then rest with gravity doing its work.My aim was to beat you on the KoM as I knew that you would beat me on the descent.
