I've paused my Zwift membership so won't have access past the end of May.

Going to take a free trial of Wahoo X and see how I find it. Perhaps a stage or two of Tour de Splitters could be over there? Maybe @berty bassett could help organise or find a suitable event???

I'll be really interested to see what Wahoo do with RGT over the next few months. A bit of genuine competition can only be a good thing for us users I think, and Wahoo have the resources to really make something of it potentially.

I can't see myself paying for more than one platform though - have they scrapped the basic free membership option of RGT (sorry Wahoo X!)?

I don’t think there is a free version of Wahoo X but there is a 14 day trial.

I would imagine that the Zwift/TrainerRoad buyout rumours will come back again now.

Downhill Alpe.....

That would be quite fun, in a strange way. Shame we can't set our own routes, as a start at the top of the Alpe, but a finish at the water front finish line, would be interesting. As there would still be enough up out the gravel foresty bit, and some more down, then roll to the finish to make it a proper race.

Interesting how my relationship to Zwift changes. Many years I have like to do group rides but recently I have noticed that they have start to felt boring. Few times recently I have join the group ride and after a half way I have start to feel boring and decided to leave event and continue with my own ride. It seems to clear now that I have better benefits when I do my own rides, those group rides just doesn't fit me for now and probably mixing my training plans too much.

We'd all be getting lots of XP with very little effort if you could do that

I guess that's a benefit of Zwift, that you can do races, group rides, private rides (a meetup but effectively on your own), a work out, a free ride but with pace riders, total free rides where you can turn as you see fit.

These for me personally are what makes it more interesting than the likes of Bkool, FulGas etc where you're on the course selected only. Now, I do like to ride some of the classic climbs, they are fun too, but I get too bored just doing those and always seem to drift back to Zwift.

Be very interesting how Wahoo X (is that right) pans out and if it just becomes a better version of Bkool, or whether it really does challenge Zwift with the volume and variety of races/rides and the volume of riders. I guess time will tell.

I'm level 50 ... unless they open up more levels the XP is wasted on me

I only started Zwifting properly late November. Got about 13% of the Tron bike challenge left and still plenty of levels to go. I think, though, that since people will always try to "game" the game, it's unlikely they will make it easy for summit start events. (I suppose they could disable XP gains for those? Wouldn't be hard to do.)

Exactly, daily fitness or how I feel different days changing a bit or sometimes a lot. It's good that Zwift have different options what kind of ride you like to do. Sometimes group rides feels boring because they are too monotonic, too often riding same flat routes. Now I need more stimulations to my body, doesn't need to be full alpe or epic KOM, rolling routes or something like Titans grove work just fine. It's also possible that long winter is doing a tricks and therefore body and mind are start to need outdoor ride.
