Dean,
You have to watch that shoulder!
I know my headache was part extertion but also because i strained my left shoulder a few days back. Pain up into my neck and down my arm (wtf?!?) and tingling in fingers of left hand. So i think i was chancing it with a balls out effort up Box. But i have been so bored just spinning for 20km a day. I will pop off to strava to see what you have done ^_^

Sounds like you’re putting too much weight on your hands / not bending your arms enough Bob.

. Trapped/ pinched nerve in cervical spine C5/6/7. Depending on which fingers tingle

Could be. I have a loose left shoulder that has a tendency to pop out . It popped out a bit when I rolled into my left side the other night. Frigging agony. That seems to have triggered the pain into neck etc. I have been trying to keep quiet about it but giving we all seem to be falling apart I feel I can make full disclosure

Lee and Dean, sorry for confusion over names:rolleyes:
Dean, take it easy. Rest up:okay:

Lee, frigging great effort there! I think Andy is right. Youngun’s got no stamina ^_^

Tommy, I am aiming for 8am. Cat B. Like I said it’s not regarded as a race but that doesn’t prevent some from racing. If I felt good I would certainly race it .

Will do the BRT ages ride at 6:30, I like the idea to race against people in my age group ( over 50’s) for me.
Zwift is good for racing with cyclists of different abilities (group D) which is more realistic for my ability than bkool is.
Races on Bkool seem to be more geared up for the elite groups and no one notices the poor other riders lagging behind that are working there butts off and that’s why I did like the handicap races on bkool with the cycle chat gang which unfortunately has now all but disappeared.
Feck me I didn’t know I would be going up box hill twice during that racexx(

No, we all met up before Xmas in a small bar in Soho at Lee’s recommendation :okay:

I'm still there at the back, but not for long. 2018 is the year I get serious and lose weight and get in shape and get back to the middle of the pack. What could go wrong with making a bold statement like that in public?

When I started on bkool just over 2 years ago I was always last, and by some margin. Getting my health sorted, and just working harder than I thought I ever could and I'm happily ensconced mid table :okay: unless I lose about 10 kg of fat I'll not be threatening the big boys soon, but if I can see these improvements anyone can. I'm looking forward to seeing you chase me down once more Randy :hugs:

All the expensive fancy gear in the world won't compensate for hard work :B)
