Come back steadily Dean. It seems like there has been a illness wave across the UK, most of my mates were poorly over Xmas.
I had it in 2016 christmas eve thru to 27th in bed alternating boiling, shivering and regurgitating. I dodge the bullet this year, but most of the brothers families have gone down with this over the week.

All the best to all who catch this :stop:

Got absolutely smashed tonight:B), so hard going and overdid my Kom effort trying to hold a wheel, actually any wheel. Only consolation I took Darren's lap time

Power was down 20Watts. Maybe that was due to the group played it cautiously until the Kom. I didn't have the sharpness I've had a week or two before Xmas.

Good effort Andy. Nice to grab the lap time.

Sub par effort(xmas frivolity and or cold) I was just hoping to hold a wheel on the KOM, but actually lost front bunch half way up, but was 40 secs ahead of 2nd group. They caught me just we entered the volcano section, by then I was done in.

I've just been watching Cav riding Watopia.
He took the KOM on the mountain, then on the Hilly Loop (12:40), and finally on the Volcano (7:04). I didn't get the mountain time but it was around 19 or 20 minutes. He was holding all three jerseys at the same time.
Next time you see him grinding through the Alps or Pyrenees in the autobus, think on.

None of the Pros are slow, it's just some are quicker than him going uphill.

Plus zwift hills are like lumps in the road by comparison. And he’s trying to save energy for the flat stages.

But I bet it was something to watch seeing him destroy the course Asa! We’re there many people trying to follow his wheel?

There were some who blasted past him... for a few seconds. Then they blew up and he rode away from them.

For lots of the time he was over 5 w/kg, often over 6. When he was really trying, he was over 8 w/kg. For him, that's nothing. In a sprint he could do much, much more. But I was impressed (and surprised) by his ability to keep it going for so long.

It compares you with others that have done same segments , tells you what segments suit you all sorts really - only had time for a quick look
Going to have test ride this morning I think as it’s peeing down - if I can ride without chest pain then I will do tonight
