Unless I've misunderstood the release, Zwift have just effectively released four new coloured variations of the Canyon Aeroad 2024, each costing 1.5-1.75 million drops.

Just watched the last 80km of the Men's Junior World Champs in Kigali. What a race!

Not watched it, I'll try on YT later ... but I have been to Rwanda, it's a bl00dy hilly country at high altitude, I bet the race was brutal!

Had my @rse handed to me this morning by the 2.2 w/kg D pacer bot :surrender: I lasted 6 minutes before I had to bail  Had to drop to the 1.8 w/kg D pacer bot.
My fitness is through the floor after 6 months away, it's shocking. I may be effectively starting from scratch again and need to build up gradually and forget about where I used to be at
At 86kg (I lost a kg this past fortnight), I'm 10 kg over where I was 3 years ago, and 6kg over where I was last year. Mostly upper body muscle (same trousers still fit on the waist) but that extra kgs is kicking my w/kg down the road.
Be nice to scrape back into C at some stage but for now I'm a low level D for sure

Im doing the same. :okay:

Im was placed in D with the new what seems realignment after racing score was introduced.

Im not too bothered now about making a certain level. Im doing it to keep fit, do the odd race series when feeling fresh.

If I can place somewhere above halfway, I'm good with that

Tried to do the Baseline #2 last night.

Was feeling a bit off towards the end of last week, really tired, so this was very unusually my first ride indoors or out of the week.

Absolutely shocking, barely managed to do the initial ~15mins warmup phase at 100% FTP at 80rpm (I'm normally a spinner 90+). Used app to reduce to 75% and still struggled, managed one rubbish 1min effort (the point of the test/workout) and then pottled the other two and only just finished the workout.

Reminds me a bit of how I felt three years ago on our Center Parcs holiday, which turned out to be covid and became long covid, which came from my work. Whatever this is has come from better half's work (hospital), just like our two 3-week lurgies in April and May, she's had to take sick leave all week.

Same. I'm more focused on my weight training and overall physique, and use cycling (again) as a way to keep my cardio and fitness up. I'm keen to do another cycling trip at some stage (maybe next year) so need to get some fitness back.
As you, the odd race is the aim, and hopefully not come dead last haha

@alex_cycles how does ZRS work now? Since getting back on the bike mine has stayed at 261. Is there anywhere I can see movements (not that it's moving, but I recall there was something before where after a race there was a log of any movements). I'm assuming my score was 261 back in April when I last raced and it's stuck there at the moment, but I can't remember. Or maybe 261 is the starting point for anyone coming back to racing?
