Same. I'm more focused on my weight training and overall physique, and use cycling (again) as a way to keep my cardio and fitness up. I'm keen to do another cycling trip at some stage (maybe next year) so need to get some fitness back.
As you, the odd race is the aim, and hopefully not come dead last haha

@alex_cycles how does ZRS work now? Since getting back on the bike mine has stayed at 261. Is there anywhere I can see movements (not that it's moving, but I recall there was something before where after a race there was a log of any movements). I'm assuming my score was 261 back in April when I last raced and it's stuck there at the moment, but I can't remember. Or maybe 261 is the starting point for anyone coming back to racing?

actually, they have made some changes to it recently so I’m no longer quite sure

After 30 days without a scored activity your racing score will gradually drop, but won't go below 15% under your seed score

You can see if your score has moved in each race result on Zwift.com or the companion app (if it is a ZRS enabled race). There's also a browser plugin you can get that shows ZRS scores for each rider and whether it has gone up or down in the Zwiftpower race results which is quite handy - e.g:

ah that's probably it. I bet my original seed score was 261 then - can't remember what that means to be honest, as I'm in D races I assume it's a 'D' ZRS score?
Is there anywhere I can see the score after each race? So if it does move I could see by how much?

If you look on activities in the companion app it shows change. Not all race series change it though

ooh, just saw this ... just installed that plug in, that's cool. Surprises me that Zwift haven't added the ZRS to ZP already and have left the old zwift score in there lol

Cheers

That must be what I was looking for, but I was assuming all races would show it. It wasn't showing after the WTRL race Tuesday, I was assuming it was on for all races.
I've forgotten so much this past 6 months
Looks like the hare and hounds race didn't show it either, so maybe that's also why the score hasn't changed, because I haven't done a formal ZRS race since I started back up.

On a separate note, has anyone fully upgraded 3 bikes yet and onto the special bike?

Where do I find the plug-in?

i searched on google - Zwiftpower ZRS plug in
Took me to the Chrome store, i installed the add in and bingo, ZP now shows the ZRS of riders booked into a race
@bridgy that's one hell of a find :notworthy:

I checked on a random upcoming race, it also looks at the expected position and after the race you can see the actual position of the finishers.

Very cool

I've installed and restarted Chrome - but can't see the ZRS on races. Do I need to restart the PC as well?

There seems to an increasing number of races/TTs that don't use ZRS, which is good IMO, because I think it's an awful system putting vastly different ability racers together.

You need to visit the event page of a specific race/TT to see the ZRS plugin do its magic after a few seconds (depends on number of racers in event).
For example, Tiny Races 4/4 in zone two last Saturday https://zwiftpower.com/events.php?zid=5111775

I think it only works for races that use ZRS, I had to search for a ZRS race. I couldn't see it on my races this week, neither of which were ZRS. That's a shame, I got excited at first, thought it would show for all races

Tried to do the Baseline #2 last night.

Was feeling a bit off towards the end of last week, really tired, so this was very unusually my first ride indoors or out of the week.

Absolutely shocking, barely managed to do the initial ~15mins warmup phase at 100% FTP at 80rpm (I'm normally a spinner 90+). Used app to reduce to 75% and still struggled, managed one rubbish 1min effort (the point of the test/workout) and then pottled the other two and only just finished the workout.

Reminds me a bit of how I felt three years ago on our Center Parcs holiday, which turned out to be covid and became long covid, which came from my work. Whatever this is has come from better half's work (hospital), just like our two 3-week lurgies in April and May, she's had to take sick leave all week.
Yeah, it's that time of year again. I was feeling off this week as well so haven't ridden at all. Will do a spin today but just a zone 2 - made the mistake of going hard while under the weather before and it doesn't end well.
