This is the Segment in the Downtown Dolphin Zwiftinsider Guide - is it the wrong segment or is there something else off then?

That's a cursed Strava segment. It thinks you've reached the finish when you hit the green arrow below and doesn't count any of the final hairpin.

It's the same thing as the sprint in Richmond where you can hit both the forward and reverse segments on Strava on the same ride because the two carriageways are so close to each other.

Ah, didn't know that. Is there a better segment?

Is it exactly one lay? My PB is 1:59. I know we won't have drafting but we'll be on TT bikes so I'm assuming not much longer than that?

It is exactly one lap which companion app said was 2.1km. Going by the times for the 2.0km on Tempus we should be just shy of 3 minutes, although this one is not quite as flat.
I'd be very surprised if we did it in much less than 2:50 without draft (remember it can save you about 30%).
But it will be interesting to see.

Honestly I'd just treat it exactly the same as the Tempus race. I'm targeting 320Watts.

Getting excuses in for tomorrow's Alex smash races , Wtrl TTT on Tuesday night ,100km outdoor ride yesterday and stage 1 TDZ today , 31st of 59 ,20th on zp . Dropped on the 1st climb couldn't close the gap to 3 riders in front so waited for riders behind and our group of 6 rode to the finish in no mans lane 20 secs behind and 25 secs ahead of next group . Managed 3rd in our group sprint. Legs feeling it now .
Disappointed in myself zwift racing app expected name to finish 30th and I only came 31st 😁

Sounds like you're in training to me. Looks like we will have a few more people tomorrow than last week.

Unfortunately not. It’s just the way the course is laid out and the way Strava interprets your track that means it will never quite work right.

If the start / finish line happened to be in a different part of the course or if the hairpin straight was a bit longer or had a longer bend at the top, then it would be suitable for a segment. There’s no problems with the opposite direction segment for example.

Random question but I think it's came up before - anyone take creatine supplements? For cycling or otherwise. I know the benefits aren't massive but aside from pretty minimal weight gain/water retention seems to be mainly upside for all round health? If it doesn't hurt your stomach.
I dont post often so a couple of days late. I retired 6 months ago ( 63) and took up weight training 3 months ago. I started taking creatine a week ago and one protein shake a day. I have had high blood pressure for years and been on Ramapril for 6 years. My blood pressure is still fairly high usually about 135 over 85 or therabouts. well I got up last night off the sofa and was a bit wobbly. Took my blood pressure and it has crashed for me that is to 120 ish over 62 ish. Also I did a Vo2 max session yesterday and noticed my heart rate refused to go over 159, when my max heart rate is normally around 168.
On googling creatine can do this, lower blood pressure and bring down your max heart rate. This seems a good thing for people like me with high blood pressure ~( makes the arteries more elastic) but maybe not for people with low blood pressure like my missus ( 95 over 63 ish).
Just something to be aware of, if you get a bit wobbly your blood pressure may have crashed.
Note to early for me to notice if it gives me any gains in the gym. I am going to ring my doctor if blood pressure stays low over the weekend.
